Among my students, I had the pleasure to teach a singer of the Metropolitan Opera children choir, three pop-rock singers, one jazz singer, and a few actresses, from beginners to professionnals.
I am a professional opera singer. Since I started music and voice study at a young age, my background in vocal technique now stretches back over 20 years. I teach the bel canto art that I apply to any style of music and to the spoken voice, too. I do much work on breathing, using a few techniques of the great singers of the past, the Alexander technique elements, and some of my knowledge in meditation. I also work on diction, text declamation, and interpretation, which are fundamental elements in the expression of "beautiful singing". I like to adapt my teaching to my student and I often have an intuitive approach to what I have to do with my student on the day of the lesson. I ask from my students sincere involvement and daily training, even if only 5 or 10 min per day.
