Acting and performance classes or coaching sessions from a French-American Columbia University graduate actor!
Acting / Performing arts: Enfants, Adulte débutant, Adulte intermédiaire, Adulte avancé
I most recently taught a series of workshops on Shakespeare's "Comedy of Errors" to students at Cardinal Spellman High School in the Bronx, in partnership with Classic Stage Young Company We started each workshop with a warm up, and then explored Shakespeare's language, characters and plot through various exercises and games. At the end of the five workshops, the students performed their own version of a scene, using different acting and directing techniques we shared with them. The students also came to see our production of "The Comedy of Errors" with Classic Stage Young Company, and were able to ask questions and work with the rest of the cast.
I also coached a student for auditions to Graduate School Acting programs. We worked in detail on four different monologues, creating specificity in character and action for each one of them. We also discussed the audition and graduate school process. This student was admitted at the Actor's Studio at Pace University.

I like to create a structure for the lesson, but also respond to the student's interests and needs. It is a very collaborative process, so that the student can learn by also having fun and having a personal connection to the material. I am very excited to share my passion of Theatre and performance with others and help them find confidence to express themselves, create stories and have fun.
